This project to restore a section of Bowker Creek was started in 2015 and has created a 150-metre planting of native species on the north bank, including a small Garry oak meadow area. It is bordered by a well-used pathway for cyclists and walkers. Volunteers continue maintenance work to control invasive plants, such as Himalayan blackberry, Yellow Flag Iris, Golden Willow and Reed Canary Grass.
Volunteers work 10am to noon on last Sunday of every month, (except for December and January) and weather permitting.
