Request for Proposals:
Priority Site Record Updates and New Site Record Development
Deadline for submissions: 5:30 PM December 21st, 2010
The Conservation Planning and Site Protection Recovery Implementation Group (CPSP RIG) of the Garry Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team (GOERT) has received funding to update the database of priority Site Records related to Garry Oak and associated ecosystems. This database is part of a larger database of Site Records for priority sites throughout BC not limited to Garry Oak and associated ecosystems; however, this project deals only with a subset of sites that include Garry Oak or associated ecosystems. The Site Record database was originally housed within the BC Conservation Data Centre (CDC), and uses a standard methodology to create Site Records that is used internationally by CDCs and Natural Heritage Programs (methodology guidelines available upon request).
