******************** IMPORTANT REMINDER ***********************
To maintain your status as an active member of the Garry Oak Ecosystem Recovery Team Society, membership dues need to be paid annually.
If you have not done so, please kindly make your 2024 payment through our website ($25 regular membership and $15 student).
All membership fees and donations contribute to the conservation of Garry Oak ecosystems through supporting the work of GOERT.
In addition to providing financial support, membership is the primary aspect of how the Garry Oak Ecosystem Recovery Team is governed as the board is accountable to members. Members participate in GOERT governance at the Annual General Meeting where the GOERT board reports on the previous year and new board members are elected by the membership.
The benefits of joining include:
- Advance notice of upcoming events.
- Voting privileges at the AGM.
- You help support recovery of Garry Oak ecosystems.
Thanks for your continued involvement and support in the work we do, and we look forward to seeing you all on the 16th.
Warm regards,
The GOERT Board of Directors
