Acorn Awards
The Acorn Award is GOERT’s way of honouring individuals who have made an outstanding, long-term contribution to the conservation and recovery of Garry Oak ecosystems and the species at risk that depend on them. Presented periodically to volunteers, members, partners, staff, friends, and supporters who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to this work, the award celebrates the people whose passion and perseverance have helped protect one of Canada’s most endangered ecosystems.
