Garry Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team (GOERT)

Membership

Garry oak ecosystems need your help and you can contribute to their conservation by becoming a member of the Garry Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team (GOERT). We rely on donations to continue our conservation work and your membership provides community support for the conservation work that the Garry Oak Recovery Team does. 

In addition to providing financial support, membership is the primary aspect of how the Garry Oak Ecosystem Recovery Team is governed as the board is accountable to members. Members participate in GOERT governance at the Annual General Meeting where the GOERT board reports on the previous year and new board members are elected by the membership.

The benefits of joining include: 

• Advance notice of upcoming events.
• Voting privileges at the AGM.
• You help support recovery of Garry Oak ecosystems.

To join the Garry Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team Society, go to the Donate Page and make a donation of at least $25 for a regular membership (or $15 for a student membership) and indicate on the form that you’d like the membership. You can also contact us at membership@goert.ca.
